Iran director to make new film 'The Daughter of Farewell' in Portugal

Iranian director Sam Qaribian has set to make 'The Daughter of Farewell' in Portugal.

According to a media report, almost 70 percent of the project has been shot in the Portuguese cities of Lisbon and Porto.

The Remaining 30 percent of the work is set to be recorded in Iran and UAE.

The film is the story of an Iranian man who has a great passion to make name by becoming an actor.

To pursue his dreams and act in a famous Iranian director's film, he ventures on a trip to Europe. Unexpected turn of events changes his destiny, though.

Sam Qaribian is an Iranian actor, script writer and director. He is the son of the great Iranian actor, Faramarz Qaribian.

He has so far appeared in several movies and series.

On ifilm you have seen him in the series 'Leila's Loneliness' as Shayan, the antagonist of the flick.

He has tried his hand in stage acting too and has been in some works.
